Wren Lake Park

Wren Lake Park
Wren Lake Park has something for everyone seeking a little time outdoors. Little ones still learning to fly relish the wind in their faces on the sWing set. Tweenage fairies gather at the climbing wall and volleyball court and flirt (awkwardly). Cornhole is always available for a pick-up game. All this activity can really work up an appetite! Visitors often pack a picnic lunch or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. The concession stand offers a diverse array of mouth watering snacks to tempt any palate.
Don’t get your wings caught in the.. um… facilities! They’re a tight squeeze!

Durrae & John Johanek
John and Durrae live in their cat Willie’s house near Sypes Canyon. Everyone in the household is retired, including Willie, whose hobby is sleeping. In their former lives, John and Durrae worked in publishing. Now they spend their time traveling, birdwatching, and emptying the litter box. In her spare time, Durrae makes baskets — lots and lots of baskets. John can be found painting portraits and supervising Durrae. The couple were greatly inspired by last year’s village and were excited to join in on the fun!
