Bumblewood Mycelial Switchboard

Bumblewood Mycelial Switchboard

he Bumblewood Mycelial Switchboard connects this village–and many, many others–via the vast network of mycelium running beneath the thicket and beyond. Every fairy home and business has a fungal phone and some even have routers linked to the World Wide Web. This mycological network converges in a central switchboard. Here the Giltveil sisters field inquiries about the weather, requests for a Flyft, or even long flitstance calls. These busy social butterflies—Amanita and Candy Cap—are kept on their toes connecting a multitude of calls. They are incorrigible gossips, but they only occasionally (okay, fairly often) listen in!

Always keen to introduce the latest and greatest mycological technology, Amanita and Candy Cap are proud to be among the first to offer wireless spore plans to village residents.

Cassandra Maffey

Bumblewood is a symbol and creation of the heart and wonder that thrives in our Valley of the Flowers, and Cassandra is honored to help tend the flame of magic. With a long history tending to plants, animals, and people, Cassandra is now focusing on shepherding her young children, Sophia Artemis and Phoenix Rainier. They live in a sunny spot up Bridger Canyon called Wolf Mountain alongside her husband, Peter Constant. Joining them are the wolf Arwen and Clover the kitty. And their fish. And their chickens. Cassandra looks forward to creating magic for the Bozeman community to enjoy for years to come!
