Behind these venerable doors, this family business has been designing, fabricating, and retailing fantastically fine furniture for a very long time. Inspired by the natural world and especially by their namesake fiddlehead ferns, every piece of furniture is a future heirloom. Expert craftsfae Winfred and Ferndock Fiddlehead love their work, and that passion has been passed down to their tweenage twins Mortice and Tenon. Their home is their showroom and their showroom is their home, and shoppers are invited to take a seat and stay a while. Due to this compelling sales technique many a seat has, in fact, been taken - home!
Tenon and their best friend Clover love to hang out on the airy deck playing Dungeons and Dragonflies, while Mortice lives to play volleyball (and flirt awkwardly) at Wren Lake Park.
Steve & Wren Allison-Bunnell
Steve and Wren live in Bozeman with their spouse/mom and two cats. Steve is an artist, writer, house-spouse, and meditation and mindfulness practitioner. Wren is a video producer and graphic designer. This is their fifth year building a fairy house! Steve and Wren apply digital tools to create natural looking forms, and love the challenge of inventing a new story and further growing their design and construction skills each year.
