Thimbleberry Farm

Thimbleberry Farm

Thimbleberry Farm is a trail-side berry stand and root cellar run by Amelanchier Fen, forager extraordinaire. Visitors can pick up seasonal delicacies such as thimbleberries from Bearhaven Trail, juneberries from Petal Hill and huckleberries from Ringtail Divide. Amelanchier knows all the secret picking spots, most of which are inaccessible to humans, and travels far and wide in search of the freshest and juiciest berries. When not berry-hunting, she’s cooking up delicious jams and jellies for the long winter ahead.

Andrea Michael

Andrea is a Bozeman architect with a focus on high performance, low carbon building. She incorporated a gabion wall in her fairy design because of its small carbon footprint. Her hobbies include reading, cooking and converting her lawn into native perennial gardens and a berry forest! Andrea’s interest in fairy architecture was piqued when her daughter (and fairy house assistant) Clara suggested they create something for Bumblewood. You can find Andrea on her website.
