Hilda’s Home

Hilda’s Home

This charming toadstool cottage is home to Hilda Honeycap, quilter, healer, and hive keeper. Hilda is a kind and generous soul, often seen about town delivering cozy quilts and bottles of golden honey for ailing neighbors in need of a little extra comfort. She loves nothing more than spending hours in her sewing room coming up with new quilting patterns. She relaxes at the end of the day by catching up on correspondence, snug in her old armchair by the fire.

A hive of honeybees has taken up residence right below Hilda’s home. The hum of the hive lulls her to sleep and greets her in the morning, which brings her great delight!

Susan Freund

In summer, Susan can usually be found outside working in her garden. In winter, you’ll find her in her quilt studio. She’s been quilting since she was six years old and has given away hundreds in hopes of providing comfort and joy. Bringing her real life passions into her fairy house, Susan drew inspiration from her work as a nurse and a beekeeper while crafting. Some of the furniture in her house was handcrafted by her mother many years ago. It brings her a lot of joy to include these treasures in Hilda’s Home. Living between Bozeman and Livingston, Susan resides with her husband, chickens, and bees. She is very excited to announce that she is now a first time gramma!
