Garden of Goodwyn

This elegantly whorled home is the sanctuary of Goodwyn Helix, a contemplative gardener and pixaculture expert. When he was quite young, he found a land snail shell, and was delighted to discover that his wing pattern looked just like the spiral on the shell. This started a lifelong fascination with snails, spirals, and the gratitude that spirals are said to symbolize. Goodwyn’s gorgeous garden is full of reminders to, like a snail, slow down and appreciate the good things around you. Goodwyn loves to walk the labyrinth, knit, embroider, read, and sit by the fire with his friend and fellow gardener Alwyn.

michelle varrin

Michelle lives at Bridger Bowl with her husband Chris. They get out on the trails outside their door year round, even in mud season. If they’re lucky, their kids Sam and Isabel join them, and if they’re extra lucky, Sam’s dog Winston the dachshund joins them as well. Michelle is most in gratitude when traveling, baking, making miniatures, hiking, skiing, and biking. She has been making miniatures for a while now, (if Barbie houses count) about 53 years! You can find Michelle on instagram.
