Dr. Anthur Velutinous is a retired naturalist and Bumblewood University professor. While he lives alone, Anthur–Anth to his friends–is always happy to have company on his daily rambles through the thicket. He delights in new discoveries and has been known to lecture… err… share his vast knowledge at length with anyone willing to listen. When not exploring the natural world, Anth can be found cataloguing his discoveries or relaxing in his armchair reading and sipping a cup of mushroom tea. At night he is often in the observatory, watching the sky for hours on end, or taking in a show at the Thicket Theatre with his dear friend and fellow scientist Peata Hornwort.
