The Hamborgus' Pumpkin Patch

The Hamborgus' Pumpkin Patch

This thriving pumpkin patch is home to young newlyweds Horace and Dorace Hamborgus. They met at the Thicket Theatre after a performance of the musical My Fae Lady. Both are big little fans of the theatre. Horace helps Thistle build sets, while Dorace directs a show every now and again. Horace and Dorace just love being together. They spend a lot of time cooking scrumptious meals, talking and knitting scarves in their comfortable squashy home, or setting out into the world in seek of new experiences and adventures. They especially love skipping pebbles on puddles and picking posies to bring back home.

Matthew lives in Bozeman with his wife, Hillary Crum, to whom this home is dedicated. It is the story of their love for one another and the life they have built together. Matthew does a lot of different things–woodworking, prop making, building electronics, and even writing–but what he loves most is toy making. He discovered the fairy homes last year with his wife and was immediately fascinated. Since he loves making miniatures, it seemed like a magnificent opportunity to try it out. For Matthew, there is something very magical about nature and art coming together, with the added whimsy of a fairy village. You can find Matthew on instagram.
