JAELYN SILVEY
Assistant Shenaniganator
(Assistant Producer) - she/her
As our Assistant Shenaniganator, Jaelyn dips her paintbrush into many different projects around Random Acts of Silliness. You’ll likely see her telling stories with Roxy, liaising with the fairies, lighting up a lantern, and co-producing magical bits of theatre. Behind the scenes, she is a busy bee making sure everything is going smoothly and sharing what’s going on in silly town!
A homegrown Bozemanite, Jaelyn grew up playing very elaborate games of pretend and crafting dramatic storylines for her paper dolls. To no one’s surprise Jaelyn found a deep and unending love for theater. Her first theatrical endeavor was singing Mamma Mia at the top of her lungs and she has yet to look back!
Her past experience includes wearing nearly every theatrical hat (literally and figuratively). By far her favorite hat, aside from a fascinator, is that of a director. She is currently working toward a degree in Theatre Directing from the New International Performing Arts Institute in Berlin, Germany. Additionally she holds a plethora of skills from her time as a freelance marketing manager, wedding videographer, preschool teacher, and barista.
Jaelyn lives in a family heirloom trailer with her incredible fiance, Isaac. Together they find themselves involved in many theatrical endeavors and always dressing up no matter the occasion. Spending time with friends brings them immense joy as does finding the perfect basket of french fries and singing karaoke in their living room.
If Jaelyn could have a super power, she would choose teleportation. She loves traveling immensely but does not love sitting on long haul flights.
“I am a big lover of all things silly and imaginative! I deeply believe in nurturing the inner child and incorporating whimsy wherever possible, no matter how old you are. It is an honor to step into a beloved community organization and I can't wait to continue spreading joy."
