Dahlia Drizzelle's Dwelling
Dahlia is an avid collector of pretty objects and–like many fairies–she can’t resist anything sparkly, colorful, or curious that crosses her path. A skilled craftsfairy, Dahlia built her curvy cottage using clay dug from nearby riverbanks and decorated it inside and out with her found treasures. She built her furniture too, and is especially proud of her river glass light fixture which glows delightfully at night, making the floor sparkle even more brightly. A painter herself, Dahlia also adores collecting art created by dear friends to decorate her pebbly palace.
Emlyn lives with Bumi, a boxer mix with a permanent tuxedo and very large ears. She works at the Bozeman Art Museum as the associate director. She teaches art classes at the museum and around town, and maintains her own art practice in sculpture and watercolor. Emlyn has always enjoyed sculpting and creating whimsical things. Emlyn loves the challenge and inspiration of projects that push her creativity, and she participated in the 2024 Crankiefest. Her dad is an architect so it’s also fun to peek into the world of houses on this tiny magical scale. You can find Emlyn on her website and on Instagram.
