Stump Hollow

Stump Hollow

This mossy stump is home to Walter “Treb” Treble, a fairy of few words who prefers to express himself through music. Anyone with an instrument to play, a wing to flap, or a voice to hum is welcome at his place for nightly jam sessions that echo throughout the thicket. Whether it’s fiddle picking at the Huckleberry Festival every August, or strumming his harp for Priscilla and Nigels’ nuptials, Treb has made just about every celebration in town a little more musical.

Danielle & Matthew Thomsen

Danielle and Matthew live in Bozeman with their two small(ish) children, one very large dog named Dudley, and a yard full of fairy houses and other magical objects. Danielle is Executive Enchantment Director of RAS and Matthew is a designer and fabricator. Their collaborative process involved Danielle coming up with crazy ideas and Matthew figuring out how to execute them. Danielle has been building tiny things in the woods as long as she can remember, first for My Little Ponies and now for fairies. Mathew spent most of his childhood designing and redesigning a giant hole in his backyard. Learn more about Danielle on the RAS website, and Matthew on his website.
