Petra Feldspar, proprietor of Mountain Hostel & Supply, knows the mountains in this region like the back of her wing. Recently retired from a career as mountaineer and guide, Petra now lives in town where she provides travelers with a warm bed, hot stew, supplies and instructions on how to cross the rugged mountains of this area. She is a treasure trove of stories and mountain lore. She partners with Moss Landing Campground when large fairy migrations come through, making sure everyone has a bed and a hot meal before they fly on again.
