Hall of humanology

Hall of Humanology

The Hall of Humanology is a research lab, design studio and high-tech workshop. Here fairy designers and engineers (Humanologists) study human objects and create their own inventions inspired by human technology. The hall is owned and operated by the Fairy Council on Adaptation to Human Expansion with support from the Bumblewood Science Center. Some may see this as a controversial field of study, but the Humanologists believe strongly in helping the fairy community adapt to continued human development in the natural areas they inhabit. Humanologists work closely with the Borrowers and with neighbor Anne Corvida to collect and understand human artifacts and behavior.

Steve & Cedar Allison-Bunnell

Father and son duo Steve and Cedar live with their wife/mom on Bozeman’s west side across from a pond that hosts ducks, geese, blackbirds, and pelicans. Steve is the educator for the Montana Science Center’s STEAMlab. Photography and digital art are his main obsessions and spending time outdoors with family is a particular joy. When he’s not assisting with technology at the Montana Science Center STEAMlab or finding new ways to spoil his cats, Cedar is creating intricate mechanisms in Minecraft with Redstone circuitry. The Hall of Humanology was lovingly crafted with the Glowforge Pro laser cutter at the STEAMlab in the Montana Science Center. When hiking in green, cozy forests, their family loves to identify particularly pretty mossy little caves and roots suitable for fairy homes. You can find Steve on his website.
